Job summary

Rapid Bull Pty Ltd, a NSW-based transport and logistics business, is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Analyst to enhance transport planning, fleet utilisation and delivery routing. The role focuses on improving scheduling, resource allocation and operational performance across NSW and towards Victoria.

The ideal candidate has a degree in supply chain or related field and at least one year of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and transport management systems.
• Sound understanding of fleet operations, route planning, delivery scheduling and freight distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse end-to-end transport and logistics processes, including delivery scheduling, fleet utilisation, route efficiency, freight movements and overall operational performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise transport and supply chain operations and reduce inefficiencies, unnecessary costs and delivery delays.
• Analyse delivery volumes, scheduling requirements, geographical locations and operational data to support resource allocation and transport planning.
• Review vehicle utilisation and fleet performance to identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Conduct route performance analysis, including travel distances, delivery times, fuel usage and driver allocation.
• Assist with planning and optimisation of delivery routes across metropolitan, regional and border areas of NSW and towards the Victorian border.
• Monitor delivery performance and identify trends relating to delays and bottlenecks.
• Prepare reports and analysis on key logistics and transport performance indicators.
