Job summary

Progress Rail is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to manage demand, optimize inventory and oversee purchasing for ~26,000 items. You will drive safety stock settings, BOM data management and data accuracy in the ERP system, while aligning with environmental and safety values.

You will monitor demand signals, lead-time adherence and stock levels, supporting continuous improvement and efficient procurement across the maintenance and manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years OEM, rail, aviation, logistics, mining or supply chain experience preferred.
• 3 years planning or purchasing experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Demonstrable knowledge of quality processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand signals, inventory stocking strategies and system governance.
• Coordinate end-to-end purchasing and expediting based on demand data.
• Inform material masters and safety stock settings using historical usage.
• Run vendor back-order reports and ensure orders are placed 4+ months ahead.
• Maintain data integrity in D365 for inventory and PO settings.
