Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply, inventory, warehousing or distribution management.

• Experience coordinating inventory and distribution across multiple warehouses or locations.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software or similar platforms.

Job description

Based in Wingfield, Adelaide, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing inventory, storage and distribution activities across our Australian operations.

You will focus on maintaining stock availability across multiple locations, coordinating interstate stock movements and improving the efficiency of our national distribution operations.

Working closely with our state and warehouse managers, procurement, sales and customer service teams, you will help ensure our solar and electrical products are available where they are needed and distributed efficiently to meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities

Plan and oversee the supply, storage and distribution of solar panels, inverters, batteries and related electrical equipment across our Australian operations.

Develop, implement and monitor national inventory allocation, storage and distribution plans to maintain reliable product availability across multiple locations.

Analyse sales forecasts, customer demand and stock movements to determine inventory requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels while controlling inventory holding costs.

Work with state and warehouse managers to coordinate storage capacity, stock allocation and inventory requirements across different locations.

Oversee inventory control systems and stock movement records to maintain stock accuracy and ensure timely replenishment across the warehouse network.

Plan and coordinate interstate stock transfers and distribution schedules with warehouse teams and freight providers to support timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Liaise with sales, customer service and warehouse teams to align stock availability and distribution arrangements with customer order requirements.

Coordinate with the procurement team on incoming stock, supplier delivery schedules and replenishment requirements to maintain a reliable flow of products.

Oversee the accuracy and reporting of stock receipts, inventory transfers and distribution records across warehouse locations.

Establish and monitor national inventory and distribution performance standards, working with state and warehouse managers to address operational issues and improve consistency across locations.

Review national inventory and distribution performance, identify opportunities to reduce stock shortages and operating costs, and implement improvements to stock availability and delivery efficiency.

About you

A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Commerce or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in supply, inventory, warehousing or distribution management, including supervisory or management responsibilities.

Strong knowledge of inventory planning, stock control, warehouse operations and distribution processes.

Experience coordinating inventory and distribution activities across multiple warehouses or business locations.

Experience working with warehouse teams, freight providers and internal departments to manage stock movements and delivery requirements.

Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software or similar platforms.

Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.

Proven ability to manage operational priorities, coordinate activities across multiple locations, monitor performance and improve supply and distribution efficiency.

Experience in renewable energy, electrical equipment or wholesale distribution will be highly regarded.
