Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to lead quality activities for the High Capacity Signalling project in Perth. You will manage supplier qualification, audits, and acceptance testing across trackside, rolling stock, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Based in Perth CBD with time at the Ashfield warehouse, you’ll drive supplier quality improvements and coordinate with SPQD to deliver a safe, reliable ATC system for the metro network.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders.
• Proactive and agile approach, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in supplier management and/or procurement.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the customer contract and developing supplier quality specifications.
• Completing quality critical risk assessments on external purchased material (ALSTOM SPL).
• Managing new supplier introduction audits and assessments.
• Coordinating with the SPQD team to ensure supplier qualification and compliance with project requirements.
• Liaising with customer and suppliers to manage First Article Inspections (FAI) and witness First Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Developing Incoming quality control plan and conducting incoming quality checks.
• Managing the supplier NCR process.
• Managing customer acceptance on material lot.
• Monitoring supplier quality performance.
• Conducting supplier quality audits.
• Improving supplier quality performance.
