Shoalhaven City Council is seeking a proactive Wastewater Maintenance Supervisor to plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance across the central wastewater network in South Nowra. You will lead field crews, ensure safety, and deliver reliable wastewater services, with on-call duties and a focus on incident response.
The role requires a Certificate IV in Water Industry or equivalent, MR Licence (or obtain within 6 months), First Aid, White Card, Confined Spaces, and Australian work rights.
Reporting to the Coordinator - Wastewater Distribution, this role is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising maintenance and repair activities across the Central wastewater distribution network. You will lead and support day-to-day team operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with relevant legislation, Council policies and operational requirements, while contributing to the reliable delivery of wastewater services to the community. The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
