Job summary

JobAdder Operations Pty in Ipswich (Riverview) is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to lead a trades team at our modular construction manufacturing facility. You will mentor carpenters, coordinate daily production activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will oversee up to 15 employees and labour hire, drive productivity and quality, read construction drawings, and promote a positive safety culture on the floor.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Carpentry, Cabinet Making or Joinery.
• Experience as Supervisor, Leading Hand or Foreman in construction, building products, manufacturing, modular construction or related industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

Are you a qualified Carpenter, Joiner or Cabinet Maker with experience leading teams on construction sites, in workshops, manufacturing facilities or modular building environments?

We're looking for a hands-on Supervisor to lead a team at our modular manufacturing facility in Riverview. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the floor, mentoring tradespeople, coordinating daily activities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you'll oversee a team of up to 15 employees and labour hire personnel, helping drive productivity, quality and safety while keeping projects on schedule.

About the Role

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

• A trade qualification in Carpentry, Cabinet Making or Joinery
• Previous experience in a Supervisor, Leading Hand or Foreman role within construction, building products, manufacturing, modular construction or a related industry
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage teams
• A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to support your team where required
• A genuine commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes
• Experience coordinating workflows, resources and production schedules
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience using Gantt charts or production scheduling tools will be highly regarded
