ATCO Structures and Logistics in Townsville, QLD is seeking a Construction Operations Supervisor to lead modular construction projects across North Queensland. You will oversee branch operations, manage a skilled team and coordinate subcontractors from planning through to completion.

The successful candidate will bring a strong construction background, experience in modular builds, and a hands-on leadership style focused on safety, quality and teamwork.

Due to an internal promotion, we're seeking an experienced Construction Operations Supervisor to lead our Townsville branch and oversee the successful delivery of modular construction projects throughout North Queensland.

This is more than a site-based role. You'll take ownership of branch operations, lead a skilled team, manage subcontractors and drive project outcomes from planning through to completion. About the Role

As the Construction Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site installations, yard operations and operational delivery across the Townsville branch.

You will:

• Manage modular building installation projects from planning through to completion
• Coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades, including crane, plumbing, carpentry and fabrication services
• Lead site activities while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards
• Oversee scheduling, budgets, forecasting and operational reporting
• Manage the performance and readiness of ATCO's modular hire fleet
• Collaborate with engineering, design and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
• Drive positive operational and financial outcomes across the branch

About You

You'll bring a strong construction background and the confidence to lead projects, contractors and teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in residential, commercial or modular construction
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Site Supervisor or similar leadership role
• Strong contractor management and project coordination skills
• Experience managing multiple projects or installations simultaneously
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies and site operations
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction (or working towards) highly regarded
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on leadership style and commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
