UGL is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical trades on a major utilities project in Western Australia. You will coordinate daily site activities, mentor teams and ensure safety, quality and schedule delivery on complex infrastructure works.

The role is full-time, on a 2:1 DIDO roster, based near Rivervale with site travel ~300km north of Perth. You will build relationships with subcontractors, manage resources and aid career development within a collaborative,

• Electrical Trade Qualification.

We design and construct the following assets; power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment plans and water pipelines.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major utilities project team, leading electrical trades, subcontractors and site-based personnel to safely deliver project outcomes.

You will play a key role in coordinating daily site activities, managing resources, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project schedules. This is a hands‑on leadership position suited to a strong electrical trades professional who enjoys mentoring teams, driving performance and working in a fast‑paced project environment.

This position is on a 2:1 DIDO roster on a site approximately 300km north of Perth

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and support electrical tradespeople, leading hands and subcontractors.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with HSSEQ requirements.
• Manage daily site activities, workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor quality assurance requirements and support certifiable works documentation.
• Coordinate project materials, procurement requirements and site logistics.
• Track workforce attendance, productivity and timesheet accuracy.
• Mentor apprentices and support workforce development and training initiatives.
• Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders, clients and internal teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar leadership role.
• Experience delivering electrical works within utilities, infrastructure, resources or major project environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and manage site teams.
• Sound understanding of workplace safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
