Job summary

CSI Mining Services, a division of Mineral Resources, seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor for our Bald Hill mine site. You will lead a dynamic electrical team, ensure safe maintenance of plant and equipment, and drive adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role is full‑time permanent, on an 8D/6RR FIFO roster from Perth, WA, with a strong focus on safety, training, and team development to deliver reliable mining operations.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate and WA A‑Grade Electrical Licence are required.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate is required.
• Nominee on Electrical Contractors Licence is preferred.
• Extensive experience as a Statutory Appointed Electrical Supervisor in Mining Operations is required.
• In‑depth knowledge of WA mining regulations and electrical standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance with the Occupational Hazard Management Plan and ZERO harm goal.
• Attend and participate in safety and project meetings (daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly).
• Supervise electrical workgroup for safe maintenance of plant & equipment.
• Coordinate JSAs and risk assessments and obtain sign‑off at job front.
• Perform statutory inspections, reporting, and record‑keeping.
• Guide and develop the electrical team, training requests and development.
• Oversee parts ordering, receiving and storage.
• Ensure preventative maintenance follows manufacturer recommendations.

The Opportunity

We need an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our lead an energetic and hard-working electrical team for our CSI division based at our Bald Hill mine site. As the Electrical Supervisor, you’ll help to foster a safe, fun and supportive atmosphere while delivering results!

This role is a full-time permanent role, on an 8D 6RR roster FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and implement compliance with the Company’s Occupational Hazard Management Plan, continually striving for ZERO harm.
• Attend and actively participate in investigations, daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly meetings.
• Supervise and support the Electrical workgroup to ensure safe, effective maintenance of all plant and equipment.
• Coordinate and review work crews’ Job Safety Analysis and risk assessments, ensuring these are signed off at the job front.
• Carry out regular compliance tasks, including statutory installations, inspections, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Guide electrical personnel in their general Duty of Care, make training recommendations, complete training requests, and support the ongoing development of your team.
• Oversee ordering, receiving and storage of spare parts and consumables.
• Ensure preventative maintenance inspections are performed in line with manufacturer recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• SAP/Pronto system experience highly regarded
• Trade certificate and current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence
• Schedule 26
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Nominee on Electrical Contractors Licence
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Instrumentation and High Voltage Switching Operations qualification
• Extensive experience as a Statutory Appointed Electrical Supervisor in Mining Operations
• In-depth knowledge of Western Australian mining regulations and electrical standard
• A high standard of fault finding and trouble-shooting ability
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements
• Extensive experience and sound knowledge of power systems and control circuitry
