Job summary

CSI Mining Services, a subsidiary of Mineral Resources, seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the Bald Hill mine site. You will lead an energetic electrical team, foster a safe, fun, and supportive atmosphere while delivering results.

This full-time permanent FIFO role from Perth operates on an 8D 6RR roster, focusing on safe maintenance, inspections, and compliance across plant/equipment in WA's mining context.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate and WA A Grade Electrical Licence, suitable for WA mining works.
• Schedule 26 and relevant high voltage switching qualification.
• Senior First Aid certificate and a current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Nomination on Electrical Contractors Licence and HV switching ops experience.
• Extensive experience as a Statutory Appointed Electrical Supervisor in mining.

Responsibilities

• Drive and enforce compliance with the Occupational Hazard Management Plan for zero harm.
• Attend investigations and participate in regular meetings (daily to monthly).
• Supervise electrical workgroup; maintain plant and equipment safely.
• Coordinate Job Safety Analyses and risk assessments; ensure sign-offs.
• Carry out compliance tasks: inspections, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Guide staff in Duty of Care; support training and development.
• Oversee ordering, receiving and storage of spares and consumables.
• Ensure preventative maintenance aligns with manufacturer recommendations.

The Opportunity

We need an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our lead an energetic and hard-working electrical team for our CSI division based at our Bald Hill mine site. As the Electrical Supervisor, you’ll help to foster a safe, fun and supportive atmosphere while delivering results!

This role is a full-time permanent role, on an 8D 6RR roster FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and implement compliance with the Company’s Occupational Hazard Management Plan, continually striving for ZERO harm.
• Attend and actively participate in investigations, daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly meetings.
• Supervise and support the Electrical workgroup to ensure safe, effective maintenance of all plant and equipment.
• Coordinate and review work crews’ Job Safety Analysis and risk assessments, ensuring these are signed off at the job front.
• Carry out regular compliance tasks, including statutory installations, inspections, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Guide electrical personnel in their general Duty of Care, make training recommendations, complete training requests, and support the ongoing development of your team.
• Oversee ordering, receiving and storage of spare parts and consumables.
• Ensure preventative maintenance inspections are performed in line with manufacturer recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• SAP/Pronto system experience highly regarded
• Trade certificate and current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence
• Schedule 26
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Nominee on Electrical Contractors Licence
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Instrumentation and High Voltage Switching Operations qualification
• Extensive experience as a Statutory Appointed Electrical Supervisor in Mining Operations
• In-depth knowledge of Western Australian mining regulations and electrical standard
• A high standard of fault finding and trouble-shooting ability
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements
• Extensive experience and sound knowledge of power systems and control circuitry
