Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Supervisor - Development for Ernest Henry Operations. This role leads underground development crews to deliver development activities safely and in line with plans. Based at Ernest Henry, you will coordinate resources, coach teams and maintain high safety standards.

You will report to the Superintendent - Development and work with Technical Services to execute mine plans, while striving for continuous improvement and strong production results.

Qualifications

• Relevant Shift Supervisor competencies (S1/S2/S3) or equivalent statutory certification.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid driver’s licence.
• Significant underground hard rock mining experience with supervisory leadership.
• Strong knowledge of underground development practices, ground support, mining services, and statutory mining requirements.
• Leadership, coaching, and communication skills with ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Experience using mining and reporting systems such as INX, Pronto and Microsoft Office.

As our next Supervisor - Development, you'll lead our underground development crews to safely deliver development activities in line with operational plans.

Reporting to the Superintendent - Development, you'll provide frontline leadership, coordinate resources, and ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and team performance.

This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing people, driving results and fostering a strong safety culture in an underground mining environment.

You're a safety-focused and people-oriented leader with strong underground mining experience and a proven ability to build capable, high-performing teams. You enjoy working collaboratively with operational and technical stakeholders, balancing production outcomes with a strong commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Relevant Shift Supervisor competencies (S1, S2, S3) or equivalent statutory certification, along with current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid driver's licence
• Significant experience in underground hard rock mining, including leadership experience within a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of underground development practices, ground support, mining services, and statutory mining requirements
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and communication skills, with the ability to influence, develop and motivate teams
• Sound problem-solving, risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, supported by experience using mining and reporting systems such as INX, Pronto and Microsoft Office.
