Job summary

Whitehaven Coal Limited is seeking a CHPP Supervisor to safely coordinate coal-processing activities on a shift, reporting to the CHPP Superintendent. You will ensure safe operations, enforce compliance targets and quality objectives, and drive productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in the mining or heavy industry or processing plant with strong working knowledge of Stockpile Management and stockpile dozer operations.
• Current Unencumbered New South Wales “C” Class Drivers Licence.

About the Role – CHPP Supervisor

Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the CHPP Supervisor is accountable for the safe coordination of all coal-processing activities within the CHPP for their shift in accordance with safety and compliance targets, budget tonnes and quality objectives.

• Cost reduction activities / initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
• Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate (desirable)
• Minimum of five (5) years in the mining or heavy industry or processing plant with strong working knowledge of Stockpile Management an stockpile dozer operations
• Current Unencumbered New South Wales “C” Class Drivers Licence.
