Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join the Maules Creek Mine team in NSW. The role focuses on maintenance of fixed plant equipment within our Coal Preparation and Handling Plant, with a Monday–Friday roster and home every night.

Relocation assistance or temporary accommodation is provided. This is a permanent role offering career development, mentorship, and a competitive wage, along with our STRIVE values and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or heavy industry maintaining fixed plant equipment.
• Trade qualification including NSW Certificate of Proficiency.
• Willingness to relocate to the region (relocation assistance provided).

Responsibilities

• Complete planned, unplanned and corrective maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment.
• Demonstrate safe working practices, manage risk and report hazards.
• Work with minimal supervision and carry out assigned work orders.
• Perform breakdown repairs safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative organisational culture.
