Job summary

Marmo Group (Freo Group Pty Ltd) part of Marmon Holdings, Inc. seeks an experienced Supervisor to lead safe, on-schedule site activities. You will coordinate operations, guide teams, and ensure high HSEQ standards while meeting client and quality requirements.

You will report to the Superintendent and collaborate with Operations Manager, Branch Manager, HSE Advisor, and subcontractors. A strong safety focus and practical, results-driven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• S26 Supervisor qualification is required.
• Crane and Rigger Supervisory experience on Mine sites is required.
• FIFO experience or equivalent industry experience.
• High Risk Work Licence qualifications.
• Experience supervising operational teams, contractors or subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ requirements, risk management and quality standards.
• Able to plan, communicate and solve problems on site.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of productivity, budget and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe work practices and ensure site activities comply with HSEQ requirements and client standards.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise site works from start to finish.
• Allocate daily work and communicate priorities to staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure licences, inductions, risk assessments and safety docs are current.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, rigging, tooling, materials and subcontractor needs.
• Monitor progress, perform site and quality inspections, address hazards and risks.
• Build strong relationships with clients, operations, HSEQ, and suppliers.

Freo Group is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead site-based work activities safely, effectively and on schedule. This role will coordinate daily operations, guide employees and contractors, maintain strong HSEQ standards and help deliver work that meets client, quality and operational requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Lead safe work practices and ensure site activities comply with HSEQ requirements, company procedures and client standards.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise site works from commencement through to completion, balancing safety, quality, schedule and client expectations.
• Allocate daily work, communicate priorities and keep employees, contractors and subcontractors informed of site requirements and timelines.
• Confirm licences, competencies, inductions, risk assessments and required safety documentation are current and complete.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, rigging, tooling, materials and subcontractor requirements for operational delivery.
• Monitor work progress, conduct site and quality inspections, and act early on hazards, incidents, near misses, performance issues and operational risks.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, operational leaders, HSEQ, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records and support continuous improvement in safety, productivity, service delivery and operational performance.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Statutory S26 Supervisor qualification is non-negotiable.
• Crane and Rigger Supervisory experience on Mine sites is required.
• Experience working FIFO Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
• Relevant High Risk Work Licence qualifications.
• Proven experience supervising operational teams, contractors or subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of HSEQ requirements, risk management, quality standards and legislative obligations.
• Practical planning, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a site environment.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of productivity, budget, customer expectations and business risk.
