Lindsay Australia Limited is seeking a Workshop Supervisor at our Derrimut workshop in Melbourne. You will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, oversee repairs and mentor a team of skilled technicians to maintain our fleet to high safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical trade with advanced knowledge.
• Experience leading workshop or maintenance teams.
• Ability to plan workloads and drive productivity.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance and quality workmanship.
• HR experience and forklift licences are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repairs across fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids, trailers).
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Plan, prioritize and allocate daily tasks to mechanics and service technicians.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and inventory of spare parts.
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance and repair documentation.
• Lead, mentor and supervise workshop staff.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and promote a safety culture.

Based at Lindsay Transport's Derrimut workshop in Melbourne, the Workshop Supervisor will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, oversee repairs, mentor a team of skilled technicians, and ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

• Day Shift: Commencing at 5:00am
• Afternoon Shift: Commencing at 1:00pm

What You’ll Do:
