Job summary

Fetch Recruitment is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor/Manager for a major development site in Hervey Bay. You will lead on-site crews, ensure external works meet TMR standards, and drive safety, quality and schedule on a large civil project.

The role requires proven crew leadership, strong communication and a proactive hands-on approach, with coordination of multiple stakeholders to deliver the works on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Proven experience running crews on civil construction or development projects.
• Direct experience with TMR external works is highly regarded or subdivisions experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site crews across civil and external works packages.
• Oversee delivery of TMR-scope external works in line with standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, materials and resources to maintain program and productivity.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, including safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and authorities for smooth delivery.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, pre-starts and ongoing safety management.
• Monitor works against program, budget and quality requirements, resolving issues as they arise.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor/Manager to take ownership of a large development site, with a strong focus on external works carried out under Transport and Main Roads (TMR) requirements. You'll be responsible for leading crews on-site day to day, ensuring works are delivered safely, to program and to the required quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site crews across civil and external works packages
• Oversee delivery of TMR-scope external works in line with relevant standards and specifications
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, materials and resources to maintain program and productivity
• Manage day-to-day site operations, including safety, quality and environmental compliance

About You

• Proven experience running crews on civil construction or development projects
• Direct experience with TMR (Transport and Main Roads) external works is highly regarded but will look at someone with subdivisions exp
• Strong leadership and team management capability, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Solid understanding of civil construction methodology, safety and compliance requirements
• Relevant tickets and qualifications for site-based civil supervision
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong communication skills
