Gold Fields is seeking a Senior Mine Planning leader to head Planning Engineering across underground operations at St Ives, reporting to the Unit Manager: Technical Services. You will drive comprehensive mine plans and optimise production profiles for the Life of Mine, while collaborating with technical and operational teams to ensure safe, efficient extraction of gold resources.

Reporting to the Unit Manager: Technical Services at St Ives, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Planning Engineering Departments across multiple underground operations, playing a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing mine planning activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of gold resources.
You will contribute to organisational success by delivering an optimal production profile from underground mining operations through pragmatic, effective, and collaborative mine planning covering short-term (implementation) through to medium-term requirements aligned to the Life of Mine (LOM) and strategic direction of the business.
Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles.
