Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of transport and electrical infrastructure projects across Queensland. You will report to the General Manager – Transport Infrastructure Projects and oversee construction delivery, safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.

This pivotal role involves guiding Project Managers, Engineers and site teams, driving planning, resource allocation and subcontractor management while strengthening

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading construction delivery across large mobility and utility projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams including PMs, engineers and field staff.
• Solid commercial understanding: budgets, forecasting and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction delivery function across a portfolio of transport infrastructure projects.
• Oversee project delivery across safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Electrical Supervisors and site delivery teams.
• Drive construction planning, resource allocation, subcontractor management and project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, government authorities and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with senior leadership to support the continued growth and performance of the business.
