Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager in Brisbane to lead the Queensland construction division. You will own the P&L, budgets and collaborative leadership of Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors to deliver a portfolio of electrical installation projects from $100k to $4–5m.

You will shape operations, drive safety, quality and client satisfaction, while expanding the division with strategic tendering and business development in commercial properties and Tier 1 client

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of electrical construction teams.
• Strong P&L ownership and budgeting experience.
• Experience delivering projects on time, on budget and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the construction division's P&L, budgets and forecasts with a focus on revenue, margins, cost control and cash flow.
• Oversee a portfolio of electrical installation projects from $100k to $4–5m, ensuring safety, schedule and quality.
• Lead Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors to build a high-performing team.
• Manage procurements, variations, claims and subcontractor agreements.
• Establish systems across planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Maintain and grow client relationships with builders, consultants and Tier 1 clients.
• Identify opportunities for tendering and profitable project opportunities.
