Job summary

Ready Industries on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to run daily sales, operations, customer service and compliance. You will supervise staff and subcontractors, visit sites, and own the branch workflow with a clear pathway toward a standalone Branch Manager role.

The role blends office, yard and field work, including forklift operations and on-site safety management, with a focus on growth and reliable service across customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in hire, construction, temporary fencing or similar operational environment.
• Sales capability with confidence quoting, following up and securing business.
• Experience supervising employees and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with branch customers and grow local accounts.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, yard, transport and site works to keep branch moving.
• Action customer enquiries promptly and professionally and manage contracts and day dockets.
• Ensure safety standards across branch, yard and sites and monitor compliance.
