Job summary

Vista'Mare at Crown Sydney, operated by Maestro Hospitality, is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join the opening team for an exciting new all-day dining concept in Barangaroo, Sydney. This casual temporary role is part of the Crown Sydney opening crew launching in July 2026, focusing on Italian-inspired breakfast and daytime dining experiences with harbour views.

Ideal candidates have prior breakfast kitchen experience, familiarity with Italian menus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Experience with Italian cuisine or Mediterranean-inspired menus highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of breakfast service and all-day dining operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking breakfast and brunch dishes to the highest standards.
• Assisting with mise en place and daily kitchen preparation.
• Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation across all menu items.
• Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy breakfast and lunch services.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures.
• Working collaboratively with chefs, kitchen hands, and front of house teams.
• Contributing ideas and enthusiasm to a positive team culture.
