Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Tradesperson to support the Collins Class Submarine program in Western Australia. The role focuses on Pneumatic or Hydraulic areas with responsibilities for installation, refurbishment, maintenance, and defect rectification of CCSM systems.

You will work under Trade Team Leaders, managing work packs, ensuring quality and safety, and coordinating with materials to keep the schedule on track.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate as Mechanical fitter or equivalent.
• Experience in heavy engineering/shipbuilding is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret systems drawings and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Trade Team Leaders with Work Packs and close-out.
• Ensure timely delivery of work packs and scheduling.
• Collaborate with materials personnel on availability and issue.
• Verify paperwork and ensure proper return of materials.
• Perform tasks in accordance with procedures, quality and safety standards.
• Support other duties as directed by Maintenance Team Leads.
