Job summary

Kelmscott Senior High School in Western Australia is seeking a permanent full-time Student Services Manager commencing Term 1, 2027. You will lead the Student Services team across years 7–10, oversee Managers and SSOs, and support data-driven interventions to improve student outcomes.

The role focuses on data analysis with the Deputy Principals, manages the student services hub, coaches staff, and reports on patterns and opportunities for improvement to the Principal.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen or permanent resident or valid visa for term of appointment.
• Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
• Working With Children Check prior to start.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance before start.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Managers and School Support Officers (SSOs) for years 7–10.
• Data analysis of student services data with the Deputy Principals and oversee interventions.
• Manage the student services office, processes, workflow and staff accountability.
• Advise and coach the SS managers and SSOs.
• Provide data-driven advice to the Principal on patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead case management meetings for intervention tiers.
• Liaise with parents when required to support managers.
• Lead emergency management when it arises.
• Lead school-wide restorative practices in collaboration with the Deputy Principals.
