Job summary

Hedland Senior High School is seeking a Program Coordinator – Student Services to lead whole‑school wellbeing initiatives from our Senior Leadership team. You will oversee the Student Support Centre, coordinate transitions, and collaborate with allied staff and external agencies to promote student wellbeing and participation.

The role emphasizes restorative practices, data‑driven improvement, and effective engagement with families and the wider community to foster inclusive, respectful learning

Qualifications

• Exceptional leadership and organisational skills with time management and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole school student wellbeing initiatives while overseeing the Student Support Centre.
• Coordinate transition programs and organise activities, rewards and functions.
• Counsel students, parents/carers and staff on academic, behavioural, attendance, social and emotional concerns.
• Develop, implement and monitor programs to maximise student participation.
• Lead development and implementation of documented plans to support student engagement and behaviour.
