Job summary

Navitas, in partnership with Charles Sturt University, invites applications for a Student Services Advisor at the Sydney (and Melbourne) campuses. You will support student and academic administrative processes for CSUSM students, ensuring efficient, compliant delivery across the student lifecycle.

You'll liaise with campus teams, manage enrolment changes, deferrals and timetabling, and stay current with ESOS and National Code policies to provide accurate guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in student administration or student services in the tertiary sector.
• Empathy for and experience in working with international students.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and ability to build relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and WH&S principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver excellent student administration services across the student lifecycle between campuses.
• Provide guidance and accurate advice on enrolments, requests and timetabling to the Student and Academic Services team and other stakeholders.
• Manage changes to student enrolments, including deferrals, reduction of study load, withdrawals or release to another provider.
• Manage the issuing and reporting process of notices for non-enrolments, non-payments and non-engagement to international students.
• Review, process and respond to complex student enquiries, collaborating with CSU (Regional) and Navitas teams to resolve cases.
• Maintain knowledge of ESOS, National Code, CSU policies and procedures to provide accurate advice.
• Ensure compliance with agreements between CSU and Navitas focused on student-related policies and procedures.
