Job summary

Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) is seeking a Programs and Events Officer to foster a vibrant campus community through development of programs, events, and activities across Flinders campuses. You will collaborate with the Senior Coordinator Programming and Communications and engage diverse student groups to co-create solutions that enhance the student experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting the development, coordination and delivery of engagement activities, events and activations aligned to placemaking and campus culture.
• Sound knowledge and skills in event and program planning and the delivery processes to achieve objectives within scope and budget.
• Tertiary qualification with relevant work experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Work with University stakeholders and student leaders to deliver social components of orientation and welcome programs.
• Build relationships with diverse student groups including marginalised communities.
• Develop and implement mechanisms for ongoing review and evaluation of events against KPIs.
