Job summary

Flinders University is seeking a motivated Programs and Events Officer to foster a vibrant campus community across Flinders campuses, developing programs, events and activities and engaging with diverse student groups to co-create solutions that improve the student experience.

You will support the Senior Coordinator Programming and Communications, deliver social components of orientation, build relationships with student leaders, and ensure events are reviewed against KPIs within scope and

Qualifications

• Experience in developing, coordinating and delivering engagement activities, events and activations aligned to placemaking and campus culture.
• Sound knowledge of event planning and budgeting processes to achieve objectives within scope and budget.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent work experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with student leaders to deliver the social component of a university-wide orientation and welcome program.
• Build relationships with diverse student groups and communities to foster inclusion and engagement.
• Employ best-practice event and project management and review events against KPIs.
