Job summary

University of the Sunshine Coast Student Guild is seeking a Student Partnerships Officer to support, organise and deliver partnership and leadership opportunities for UniSC clubs and societies. The role is primarily based at the Sippy Downs campus with some travel across Queensland.

The position offers flexible hours (4–5 days/week) and remuneration at Level6.1 of the Higher Education Industry General Staff Award. Start date by January 2027.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in social work, education, governance or community support or related field.
• Experience engaging with diverse student communities and external partners is valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ethical handling of vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and mentorship to university clubs and societies.
• Plan and deliver collaborative student-led events with clubs and societies.
• Engage daily with students in the Student Lounge and at events.
• Build relationships with local community organisations, grant providers and university stakeholders.
• Connect students with external support services including mentorship programs and scholarships.
