Job summary

University of the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced events professional to coordinate a diverse range of student events across Caboolture, Moreton Bay and other UniSC locations. You will plan, deliver and evaluate activities that foster connection and success for students at multiple campuses.

The role focuses on overseeing and delivering events at Moreton Bay and Caboolture campuses, with regular site visits and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree and experience in event coordination or equivalent.
• Excellent planning and time management to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient written, verbal and digital communication.
• Leadership ability to supervise staff, volunteers and ambassadors.
• Budgeting, problem-solving and digital literacy capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a diverse range of student events, including orientation activities across the Caboolture and Moreton Bay campuses.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful planning and delivery of events.
• Manage event logistics, budgets, resources, risk assessments and post-event evaluations to ensure events are delivered effectively and within scope.
