Job summary

The UniSC Student Guild on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a proactive Student Engagement Officer to organise and deliver events, activities and clubs for our campus community.

Based at Sippy Downs, the role involves social media campaigns, daily student engagement in the lounge, welfare support programs, and occasional travel to other Queensland campuses. Flexible hours, 4–5 days per week, Level5.1 under the Higher Education Industry General Staff Award.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in marketing, event management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in planning and delivering events.
• Ability to engage with diverse student community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise campus events and activities.
• Create and manage social media campaigns for the Guild and events.
• Support student clubs and campus engagement initiatives.
• Engage with students daily in the Student Lounge and welfare programs.
• Coordinate logistics for on-campus events, including equipment and setup.
