Job summary

Zeal Futures Pty is expanding our independent secondary school and seeking a dedicated Student Learning Support Officer to empower students in Years 9–12. This role begins in January 2027 and focuses on hands-on classroom support to boost engagement and wellbeing in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

You will collaborate with students, teachers, and wellbeing staff, helping plan and differentiate learning, build strong relationships, and deliver responsive support while engaging in school

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent).
• Experience working with students with additional needs is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young people.
• A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Support teachers with planning and differentiating learning programs, tasks and assessments across subjects.
• Build and maintain positive, trusted relationships with students.
• Deliver learning support that is flexible and responsive to student needs.
• Participate in school events, PD opportunities and extracurricular activities.
