Job summary

Zeal Futures’ independent secondary school currently supports students in Years 9 and 10, expanding to Years 11 and 12, with this role commencing in January 2027. This is a unique opportunity to help improve day-to-day learning, engagement and wellbeing through hands-on classroom support.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent).
• Experience working with students with additional needs is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young people.
• A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, offering support that encourages student engagement and confidence.
• Supporting teachers with planning and differentiating learning programs, tasks and assessments across a range of subjects, ensuring effective learning support and successful student outcomes.
• Building and maintaining positive, trusted, and professional relationships with students.
• Delivering learning support that is flexible and responsive to student learning needs, providing opportunities for the student to be actively involved in their own learning.
• Participating in school events, professional development opportunities and other extracurricular activities
