Job summary

Zeal Futures Pty is seeking a Student Wellbeing Support Officer to join our team as we expand to Years 11 and 12, with the role commencing in January 2027. You will work closely with students, teachers and wellbeing staff to provide hands-on support that enhances engagement and success.

You will facilitate enrolment interviews, liaise with students and families to complete paperwork, and assist in formulating Individual Learning Plans to support learning and positive social development.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work, Social Work or Community Services
• Experience working with children or young people
• Experience in a school environment with group facilitation
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders to support pastoral care of students
• Ability to develop knowledge, understanding, and skills to support learning and behavior
• Capacity to work with teachers and leaders to support at-risk students' social development

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student enrolment, interviews, and assist with enrolment paperwork
• Liaise with students and carers/parents/guardians to resolve issues
• Assist in Individual Learning Plans with staff and resourcing staff
• Identify, monitor, and develop intervention strategies in consultation with stakeholders
