Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Conversion Consultant to lead data conversion activities for Workday Student deployments in the APAC region. You will collaborate with customers, project managers, and technical teams to define conversion approaches and ensure high-quality data loads across the project lifecycle.

You will drive data mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover activities while mentoring others and contributing to delivery best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data migration, integration development, report building, or software development.
• 6+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design.
• 6+ years of HR, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student domain experience.
• Experience with Workday Student or higher education student information systems preferred.
• Experience leading a Data Conversion workstream on a software implementation.
• Experience using GitHub, Python, and/or Ruby.
• Participation in at least 1 full life cycle software implementation.
• Understanding of data requirements gathering, mapping, transformation, migration, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and move to production.
• Experience with data tooling and SQL/XML/ETL.

Responsibilities

• Lead data conversion activities across the full project lifecycle for Workday Student deployments.
• Partner with customers, project managers, functional consultants, and technical teams.
• Define conversion approach and assess legacy data for mapping and transformation.
• Load accurate, high-quality data into Workday Student and support validation.
• Manage issues, communicate risks, and drive tasks to completion.
• Mentor and contribute to best practices and reusable assets.
