Qualifications

• Post-secondary qualification in communications, media, journalism, marketing or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, edit and proofread effective written communications for diverse audiences.
• Ability to translate complex information into concise, engaging, student-friendly content.
• Strong stakeholder and project coordination skills with attention to deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility and plain English principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit and deliver clear, accurate student communications across email, SMS, the Student Hub and other platforms.
• Coordinate communications for enrolment, orientation, progression, census, assessment and wellbeing.
• Translate complex information into inclusive content for different student cohorts.
• Maintain the student communications calendar and content schedules.
• Develop communication plans for significant activities and events.
• Apply governance, approvals and quality assurance, using feedback to improve.
