Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-secondary qualification in communications, media, journalism, marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Experience developing, editing and proofreading effective written communications for diverse audiences across multiple channels.
• Strong writing skills and ability to translate complex information into concise, student-friendly content.
• Strong stakeholder, organisational and project coordination skills with good judgement and deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility, plain English and inclusive communication principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit and deliver clear, accurate student communications across email, SMS, the Student Hub and publications.
• Coordinate communications for enrolment, orientation, progression, census, assessment, wellbeing, events and updates.
• Translate complex information into clear, inclusive content for different student cohorts.
• Maintain the student communications calendar and content schedules.
• Develop communication plans for student activities and events; support regular publications.
• Apply governance and quality assurance, using engagement data to drive improvements.
