Job summary

De La Salle College Revesby is seeking an HSIE Teacher to deliver History, Geography and Commerce across Stages 4–6 within a Catholic learning environment. You will employ inclusive, rigorous strategies and collaborate with a team to plan and assess student progress.

The role requires a tertiary Education qualification with NESA accreditation and may include Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to pursue them. The position is full-time and subject to standard employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy.
• Experience delivering HSIE across Stages 4–6, with Stage 6 Business Studies or Modern History desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HSIE lessons across Stages 4–6 within a Catholic learning environment.
• Maintain strong classroom management and support student wellbeing.
• Create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences for diverse learners.
• Utilise formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform planning.
• Collaborate with team to plan and assess curriculum.
