You will inspect rigging equipment, collaborate with crane operators, dogman, boilermakers and team members, and assist in setup and dismantling of rigging systems for structural steel projects.

Qualifications

• HB tickets and licences required for structural steel rigging.
• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Rigger with knowledge of rigging techniques for steel structures.
• Ability to work safely and follow project plans and instructions.
• Strong communication to coordinate with crane operators, dogman, boilermakers and team members.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy structural steel components.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently install structural steel
• Inspect rigging equipment specific to structural steel rigging, such as spreader bars, lifting lugs, and beam clamps, to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with crane operators, dogman, boilermakers, and team members to ensure effective communication and coordination during structural steel rigging operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards specific to rigging for structural steel.
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of rigging systems for structural steel projects according to project plans and instructions.

Requirements:

• Riggers Ticket (RB, RI or RA), Dogman Ticket (DG), High Risk Work Licence (HRW), Forklift Licence (LF), Scissor Lift Licence (SL), EWP under 11m Licence (WP), EWP over 11m Licence (WP).
• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Rigger, with a strong knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment specific to structural steel projects.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards related to rigging for structural steel.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with crane operators, boilermakers, and other team members involved in structural steel projects.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow project plans and instructions specific to rigging for structural steel.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy structural steel components and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the abilityto identify and mitigate potential hazards specific to rigging for structural steel.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
