Job summary

Hanlon Industries is seeking an experienced Rigger / Site Installer for a Narangba-based Queensland team. The role focuses on rigging, erection and installation of structural steel and related structures on diverse projects across South East Queensland.

You will work with Project Managers and Site Supervisors, read drawings, use rigging equipment, and uphold safety standards, with occasional nights, weekends or travel as required.

Qualifications

• Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence required.
• Proven experience in structural steel erection, rigging or site installation.
• Construction Industry White Card required.
• EWP and Working at Heights tickets highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting, rigging and installation practices.
• Confident working at heights in active construction environments.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.
• Flexibility around project hours, including nights/weekends/travel.

Responsibilities

• Rig, lift, position and install structural steel and associated components.
• Assist with the erection and installation of steel structures.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans and site documentation.
• Safely use rigging equipment, tools, EWP and other site equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials and equipment.
• Complete pre-starts, lift preparation and site safety requirements.
• Work closely with crane operators, supervisors and other trades.
• Identify and resolve practical installation issues on site.
• Maintain safe, clean and organised work areas.

We’re looking for an experienced Rigger / Site Installer to join our Narangba-based Queensland team, working across a diverse range of structural steel, infrastructure and specialty installation projects.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on the rigging, erection and installation of structural steel and associated structures.

Working alongside our Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you’ll help deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard across South East Queensland.

The work is varied and may include commercial and industrial structural steel, infrastructure, outdoor media structures and other specialty steel installations.

What We’re Looking For
