RecruitR Pty is partnering with a respected engineering consultancy on the Sunshine Coast to recruit a Structural Engineer with around five years' experience in building structures.

You'll join a national group with a 35+ strong building structures team, working on a mix of building and infrastructure projects, from smaller own-start jobs to large, complex capital projects, with room to grow locally.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Around 5 years’ experience in structural design of building projects in Australia.
• Sound knowledge of concrete and steel; timber and masonry a bonus.
• Chartered, or keen to work towards it.
• Based on the Sunshine Coast, or willing to relocate.
• Full Australian working rights; Sponsorship not available.

Responsabilidades

• Structural design from concept through to detailed design with calculations and reports.
• Review structural documentation and coordinate with architects and the project team.
• Client and project meetings, plus site inspections.
• Taking ownership of smaller projects and project elements, with support as you step up.
• Exposure to infrastructure projects if you want the variety.

It’s rare to find this calibre of work, and this much support behind you, without leaving the Coast.

Our client is a respected multi-disciplined engineering consultancy, part of a global engineering group, with a well-established team on the Sunshine Coast. They’re looking for a Structural Engineer with around five years’ experience in building structures to join them.

What makes this one different is the mix. You won’t be put in a box. The work spans building and infrastructure projects, from smaller jobs you can own start to finish, through to large, complex projects you’d normally expect to be designed out of a capital city. You’ll work on projects here on the Coast and across the wider region.

You’ll also have far more behind you than a typical local office can offer. The building structures team is over 35 people strong, so there’s always someone senior to test a design with, real technical depth to learn from, and specialist expertise across the wider national and international business when a project calls for it. Room to grow, without the Brisbane commute.

The Role

• Structural design of building projects, from concept through to detailed design: calculations, analysis models, sketches and reports
• Reviewing structural documentation and coordinating with architects, consultants and the wider project team
• Client and project meetings, plus site inspections
• Taking ownership of smaller projects and project elements, with support as you step up
• Exposure to infrastructure projects if you want the variety

About You

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Around 5 years’ experience in the structural design of building projects in Australia

• Chartered, or keen to work towards it
• Based on the Sunshine Coast, or ready to make the move
