Job summary

Morson Edge in Sydney is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead designs for high-end residential and bespoke projects, performing structural analysis across concrete, steel and timber.

With 7+ years of Australian experience, strong knowledge of Australian Standards, you will own projects from concept to delivery, mentor junior engineers and liaise with clients, builders and other consultants. The role offers autonomy and long-term progression within an established consultancy.

Qualifications

About the Company

An established structural engineering consultancy is looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer to its Sydney team.

The business has built a strong reputation for working on high-end residential, bespoke and technically interesting projects, often involving complex structures and designs.

You’ll be working closely with clients, builders and other consultants from concept through to completion, with the opportunity to have genuine input into the design rather than simply following a standardised process.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Senior Structural Engineer position for someone who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to be involved in projects where there is a bit more creativity involved.

You’ll work across a range of high-end residential and bespoke projects.

Responsibilities

About You

You’ll ideally be a Senior Structural Engineer with around 7+ years' Australian experience, although the right person with slightly less or more experience will be considered.

• Can confidently liaise with clients, builders and other project stakeholders
• Is comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery
