Vivid Recruitment is seeking Structural Engineers for its Sydney-based team. The role covers structural design and analysis of data centre and high-rise projects, with close collaboration with drafters, architects and clients.

You will create calculations, reports and drawings, and participate in site inspections through construction. The senior path includes leading projects, mentoring junior engineers and strengthening client relationships, while the intermediate path focuses on developing

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of local structural engineering experience for intermediate level.
• 6+ years of local structural engineering experience with project leadership for senior level.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Permanent work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis across projects focusing on data centres and high-rise buildings.
• Producing calculations, design reports and documentation; coordinating with drafters and modellers to deliver drawings.
• Coordinating with architects, other engineering disciplines and clients throughout the design process.

OUR CLIENT

Vivid Recruitment is currently recruiting Structural Engineers at both intermediate and senior level for a global engineering consultancy's Sydney team. Despite its international reach, this business has the feel of a smaller firm, where you'll know the people you work with and your contribution is noticed. The Sydney team is busy delivering a strong mix of data centre and high-rise projects, giving you the chance to work on technically challenging structures with real scale and complexity.

THE ROLE

• Structural design and analysis across a range of projects, with a focus on data centres and high-rise buildings
• Producing calculations, design reports and documentation, and working closely with drafters and modellers to deliver accurate drawings
• Coordinating with architects, other engineering disciplines and clients throughout the design process
• Undertaking site inspections and supporting projects through construction
• For senior candidates, leading projects, mentoring junior engineers and building strong client relationships

ABOUT YOU

• Intermediate: 2 to 5 years of local structural engineering experience
• Senior: 6+ years of local structural engineering experience, ideally with project leadership
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• MUST BE LOCATED IN AUSTRALIA
• Permanent work rights in Australia
• Experience on data centres, high-rise or large commercial projects is highly regarded
• Confident using structural analysis software such as Spacegass, ETABS or RAPT
• CPEng, or working towards it, is a plus
• Clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
