Job summary

RecruitR Pty is partnering with a respected engineering consultancy on the Sunshine Coast to recruit a Structural Engineer with around five years' experience in building structures.

You'll join a national group with a 35+ strong building structures team, working on a mix of building and infrastructure projects, from smaller own-start jobs to large, complex capital projects, with room to grow locally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Around 5 years’ experience in structural design of building projects in Australia.
• Sound knowledge of concrete and steel; timber and masonry a bonus.
• Chartered, or keen to work towards it.
• Based on the Sunshine Coast, or willing to relocate.
• Full Australian working rights; Sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Structural design from concept through to detailed design with calculations and reports.
• Review structural documentation and coordinate with architects and the project team.
• Client and project meetings, plus site inspections.
• Taking ownership of smaller projects and project elements, with support as you step up.
• Exposure to infrastructure projects if you want the variety.
