Qualifications

• At least 1 year of engineering experience.
• Member of Engineers Australia.
• Understanding of BCA and Australian Standards.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong time management and prioritisation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to current projects.
• Devise and implement new approaches to complex engineering problems.
• Contribute to project planning and ensure delivery within program and budget.
• Liaise with drafters to prepare documentation.
• Produce designs, specifications, reports to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues.
• Ensure compliance with Codes and WHS policies.
• Develop ability to plan and manage resources for small projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects across Australia. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment, delivering innovative civil engineering solutions while growing your technical expertise and advancing your career.

In this role, you will

• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to current projects
• Use knowledge and initiative to devise and implement new approaches to complex engineering problems
• Contributes to project planning and ensures projects are delivered within program and budget
• Liaise with drafters to enable preparation of documentation
• Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity under the guidance of senior staff
• Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues
• Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies - e.g., WHS practices and Quality Assurance
• Developing the ability to plan and manage resources for small projects or sections of larger projects including taking responsibility for results and outcomes and adherence to project schedules/timelines
