Eden Ritchie Recruitment invites applications for an 8-month contract role on a Sunshine Coast government project. The position leads the Information Architecture & Solution Readiness stream within the Asset Management Program, coordinating cross‑functional teams and vendors to meet governance, dependencies and delivery timeframes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or industry recognised qualifications in Information Technology and Project Management and/or equivalent experience managing projects/streams within an enterprise IT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex business and technology projects/streams involving information architecture, data governance, enterprise systems, system integration or business transformation.
  • Strong understanding of information management principles, including data standards, governance, reporting, assurance, access controls, stewardship models and audit requirements.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills to manage complex projects, manage multiple competing priorities, a variety of stakeholder expectations and influencing and achieving preferred business outcomes.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across executive, operational, technical and vendor stakeholder groups.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Information Architecture & Solution Readiness stream of Council's Asset Management Program, ensuring alignment with objectives, governance requirements and implementation timeframes.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver integrated project plans to ensure successful delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Plan and coordinate relevant integration works, working with system owners, technical specialists, business representatives and vendors to manage interfaces, dependencies, requirements, testing and implementation readiness.
  • Manage stream resources, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and critical-path activities, with timely escalation and implementation of agreed mitigation actions.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication and change activities to support the delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across multiple business units, vendors and other external and internal stakeholders to achieve agreed business outcomes.
  • Prepare clear reports, decision papers, recommendations and presentations for relevant governance forums and stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contractual deliverables and performance.
  • Undertake procurement, market research and business case activities where required, in accordance with Council policies and approved governance arrangements.
  • Adhere to the relevant governance framework and ensure delivery activities comply with relevant legislation, Council policies, standards, records management obligations and audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and the highest standards of integrity, always protecting and advancing the public image of Council.
  • Responsible for the compliant capture and secure use of public records in line with Sunshine Coast Council Records Management Policy during the conduct of daily business.
  • Act in accordance with all action plans and systems that are in place to protect the health and safety of all employees, contractors, visitors, and volunteers at workplaces under the position's control, in accordance with Council's WH&S policy and legislation.
  • Such other relevant duties as required from time to time which would generally fall within the scope of this position.

Desirable capabilities
  • A tertiary qualification in asset management, engineering, information systems, GIS, data management, business analysis, information management or a related discipline.
  • Experience with asset-management systems, enterprise GIS, financial asset registers, integration platforms or business-intelligence tools.
  • Competence in data querying, advanced spreadsheets, Power BI or equivalent reporting, and GIS analysis or validation tools.
