Job summary

Noosa Council, based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, is offering a 12-month temporary Asset Systems Officer role. You will administer and configure asset management systems, provide user training and technical support, maintain data quality and reporting, and assist with system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate across the organisation to support informed decision-making and asset management outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting asset management systems (Technology One T1 Works and Assets preferred).
• Data validation, QA and reporting experience.
• Strong GIS integrations and cloud-based solutions experience.
• Effective trainer and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain Council's Technology One (T1) Works and Assets system and related asset management applications.
• Provide system support, training and guidance to users, ensuring consistent asset data collection and management practices.
• Perform regular data validation activities, investigate data discrepancies and produce reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency across Council.
• Support development, integration and GIS interfaces to improve asset planning, maintenance and operational outcomes.

The Opportunity

Join Noosa Council in this 12-month temporary opportunity as an Asset Systems Officer, supporting the systems, data and processes that underpin effective asset management. In this role, you will administer and configure Council's asset management systems, provide user training and technical support, maintain data quality and reporting, and assist with system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will contribute to informed decision-making and the effective planning and management of Council's assets while helping deliver key system and business improvement outcomes.

• $115,537 Total Remuneration Package which is based on a full-time employee and inclusive of 12% Employer superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading.

About You

You are a proactive and customer-focused systems professional with experience supporting and administering asset management systems. You have strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain accurate data, provide effective user support and deliver practical system improvements. Your collaborative approach, attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement enable you to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute to positive asset management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain Council's Technology One (T1) Works and Assets system and related asset management applications.
• Provide system support, training and guidance to users, ensuring consistent and effective asset data collection and management practices.
• Perform regular data validation activities, investigate data discrepancies and produce reports to ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of asset information across Council.
• Support the ongoing development, enhancement and integration of asset management systems, including GIS interfaces, to improve asset planning, maintenance and operational outcomes.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience administering, configuring and supporting asset management systems, preferably Technology One (T1) Works and Assets or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated experience performing data validation, quality assurance and reporting activities to maintain accurate and reliable asset information.
• Strong technical skills in supporting mobile data collection applications, work order management systems, cloud-based solutions and GIS integrations.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver user training and provide effective support to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement and delivering customer-focused solutions in a collaborative environment.
