Job summary

Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) is seeking an experienced Assistant Director, Strategy and Performance to join the Transformation Office in Sydney. This 12-month role will translate the 10-year strategy into practical action, working with senior leaders and project teams to sequence initiatives and manage capacity and risk.

Qualifications

• Hold or obtain relevant qualifications
• Be an Australian citizen
• Undergo a satisfactory National Criminal History Check prior to engagement

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sequencing of major initiatives to manage capacity, risk and change impact.
• Provide high-quality strategic advice and input into the implementation of initiatives set out in the Strategy and Transformation Plan.
• Monitor progress against milestones and outcomes and report to the Executive and Board.
• Support development of evidence-based proposals for future investment aligned with the 10-year strategy.
• Work collaboratively with project and business teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and mentoring to team members.
