Job summary

Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) is seeking an Assistant Director, Strategy and Performance to join the Transformation Office. The role focuses on turning strategic priorities into practical actions, coordinating major initiatives, and delivering evidence-based reporting to the Executive and Board.

You will work with senior leaders and project teams to determine what needs to happen, when, and what it will take to deliver, ensuring alignment with the 10-year strategy and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategy advice and guidance to translate the 10-year plan into practical actions across the organisation.
• Coordinate sequencing of major initiatives to manage capacity, risk and change impact.
• Monitor progress and report progress against milestones and outcomes in the Strategy and Transformation Plan.
• Collaborate with project and business teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor team members and broader AHL teams to support capability development and performance outcomes.
• Present regular reporting to the Executive, Board and Committees as required.
• Ensure compliance with governance requirements, checks and fitness-for-duty standards.
