Job summary

WTW in Brisbane seeks an Account Director to lead our Workplace Risk Practice. You will provide expert consultancy on premium, claims and injury management, develop client relationships and drive strategic improvements for Australia’s top employers.

You will manage a team, oversee workload and profitability, and identify growth opportunities while maintaining strong industry relations and delivering high-quality reports and advice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role within an Employer/Insurer/Agent or broker.
• Significant experience in National Workers’ Compensation environments.
• Premium and policy management in Fund States and Risk States.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring experience.
• Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage projects under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow key client relationships.
• Provide technical and strategic advice on premium, claims and injury management.
• Draft reports and implement client retention strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Act as technical expert in Workers’ Compensation for the team.
• Collaborate with the QLD State Manager on workloads, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across key markets.
• Lead and contribute to consultancy projects across the team.
