Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking an experienced Workforce Planner to optimise labour in a high-volume environment in Sydney. The role focuses on demand forecasting, analytics, and labour modelling to ensure the right capacity is in place at the right time.

Key responsibilities include developing forecasts, translating demand into FTE and roster requirements, and delivering workforce insights to senior stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and experience with WFM systems are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in workforce planning and high-volume environments.
Proficient with rostering/scheduling.
Advanced Excel; Power BI desirable.
Experience with WFM systems (UKG/Kronos, Dayforce) advantageous.
Strong commercial and analytical skills.
Ability to translate data into operational recommendations.

Responsibilities

Develop workforce and labour forecasts aligned to trading and operational demand.
Translate demand into FTE, capacity and roster requirements.
Optimise labour allocation, workforce utilisation and productivity.
Support seasonal and peak-period workforce planning.
Analyse workforce performance, labour costs and productivity.
Partner with Operations and Finance to deliver practical workforce solutions.
Provide workforce insights and reporting to senior stakeholders.
